Foundation Settlement and Movement Monitoring Jacksonville
Oracle Engineering and Construction Services provides forensic investigations into structural distress caused by settlement, soil movement, and subsurface conditions. Whether the issue involves a cracking foundation, a leaning retaining wall, or a collapsing pool or spa structure, we determine the root cause and design repairs that address the actual problem — not just the symptoms.
Types of Projects
- Foundation Settlement Assessment & Repair Design
- Retaining Wall Failure Investigations
- Pool Wall Cracking & Structural Assessment
- In-Ground Spa/Tub Collapse Investigations
- Differential Settlement Analysis
- Soil-Related Structural Distress Evaluations
- Sinkhole-Related Damage Assessments
- Foundation Underpinning Design
- Structural Crack Monitoring & Analysis
- Slope and Embankment Failure Assessments
Structural Movement Monitoring
Oracle also offers next—generation movement monitoring for buildings, retaining walls, and foundations experiencing settlement or at risk of settlement — delivering continuous insight into subtle structural movement without invasive installation or disruption to the structure. This real-time deformation data helps identify how a structure is responding over time, giving you objective data instead of guesswork when deciding on repairs or monitoring an ongoing issue.
- Remote, Real-Time Structural Movement Monitoring
- Millimeter-Level Deformation Tracking
- Non-Invasive Installation
- Rapid Setup — Operational Within 24 Hours
- Crack and Displacement Trend Analysis
Our Approach
We begin with a site inspection and review of any available soil reports, prior repair history, and construction documents. Crack patterns, floor elevations, and structural movement are documented and, where needed, monitored over time — including autonomous sensor monitoring for ongoing or suspected active settlement — to distinguish active movement from historic, stabilized conditions. We coordinate with geotechnical engineers when subsurface exploration (test borings, CPT soundings) is warranted to confirm soil conditions driving the distress.
Findings are documented with photos, elevation surveys, monitoring data where applicable, and a clear engineering opinion on cause and recommended repair — giving you a defensible basis for repair scope, permitting, or insurance and legal claims.
